RENTAL POLICY

Below you will find the Rental Policy of Luxury Car Rentals of SA. These terms and conditions, the rental record signed by you, and any other documents which you are required to sign during the time of rental, constitute the AGREEMENT for the rental of the vehicles identified on the rental record, including all of its parts ("CAR"). This AGREEMENT is between You and Luxury Car Rentals of SA. Please note that this policy is subject to change without notice, at the discretion of Luxury Car Rentals of SA.

Rental Requirements

All consumers of Luxury Car Rentals of SA must complete a rental application prior to receiving a vehicle. 

You must have, in your physical possession, a valid driver’s license and a major credit or debit card at the time of the rental. Please bring proof of insurance with you when you pick up the rental car.

Insurance Coverage

Due to the types of vehicles we rent and the nature of the insurance industry, all renters must carry their own liability and property damage insurance.

All renters must have full coverage (comprehensive and collision) on their current car insurance policy to obtain a rental.  

Orientation

We require all first time renters to go through a short 10-15 minute orientation on the vehicle that they will be renting. This is done so that you will be familiar on how to operate the car in a safe and efficient manner.

Additional Drivers

All additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and at least 25 years of age if renting a luxury vehicle. If drivers other than the primary renter will be operating the vehicle, they must be listed as additional drivers on the rental agreement. Additional driver's fees will apply. The additional driver must have a valid driver’s license and a major credit card and full coverage insurance in the same name at the time of the rental. You may add ONE person to a rental for a fee of $ 25.00/day. Additional driver's must be present at the time of the rental and must meet all of the qualifications as the primary renter.

Rental Rates

We offer daily, weekly and monthly rates. We will not guarantee the vehicle,  but we may offer an upgrade and honor the reservation rate.

Payment Methods

Luxury Car Rentals of SA accepts the following methods of payment:

· Cash, Traveler's Checks, Money Order, VISA, Master Card

· Cash deposits are accepted

Professional Chauffeur

For those of you that would like to sit back and enjoy the sights, we offer professional drivers at an additional cost. A minimum of four hours will apply.

Damage Deposit Requirements

All renters must leave a damage deposit in the form of cash, a credit card authorization or refundable cashier's check. Any damage found on the vehicle upon return will be billed against this deposit. The amount of this deposit will vary depending on the vehicle being rented.

Pick-Up & Delivery Service

Pick-Up and Delivery is available within the surrounding area. Minimum rental applies, so please contact the rental office for availability and restrictions.

Driving Area/Geographic Restrictions

Vehicles rented from Luxury Car Rentals of SA must stay within the Texas borders. Special arrangements may be made by calling our office as to other destinations. All permissions must be done in writing. Please note that any vehicle traveling outside the authorized area is subject to a surcharge and may be in violation of the rental agreement.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice at NO CHARGE. Less than 48 hours cancellation notices are subject to ONE FULL DAY RENTAL charge plus all applicable taxes.

Tickets

The renter is responsible for all parking , traffic, speeding tickets, or other violations issued while the vehicle is being operated by the renter. All fees, penalties, towing and impound charges are the responsibility of the renter. 

Contract Dates / Extensions

You may be asked to return to the Luxury Car Rental of SA office in order to extend any rental agreement. Contracted rates may change once your original return date has passed, so please contact your rental office for details.

Grace Period

Luxury Car Rentals of SA allows for a one hour grace period after your scheduled return time. Surcharges and full daily rates apply after the grace period has expired. Please refer to your rental agreement or call the rental office for details.

Past Due Amounts

Past due amounts will accrue the lesser of either 1.5% per month or the maximum amount allowed by law. Customer agrees to pay all reasonable costs and fees (including attorney's fees) incurred by Luxury Car Rentals of SA in collecting any amounts due.

Driving Rules & Regulations in Texas

Texas has an open container law. It is illegal to have opened alcoholic beverages in the driver or passenger areas of a vehicle while it is being operated. In the San Antonio area, parking meters and painted curbs are in operation and are closely monitored 24 hours a day by the authorities. Citations and fines are expensive; to avoid them, be sure to read all parking signs carefully before parking your vehicle.

Non-Smoking Policy

Luxury Car Rentals of SA encourages a smoke-free environment when inside any of our meticulously detailed vehicles. A cleaning charge will apply if this policy is violated.

Mileage

Daily and weekend rentals include 100 to 125 miles per day free depending on the car, unless stated otherwise. Each additional mile driven will be subject to a charge at the stated mileage rate. Vehicles driven over the mileage allowed per day will be subject to an additional surcharge (depending on the vehicle) in order to cover excess wear and tear.

Damaged Tires & Rims

The renter is fully responsible for all tire, wheel, and hubcap damage during the rental. Whether the tire and wheel were damaged by road hazard, driver error, or a blowout, the renter will be held responsible and charged for any expenses to repair the vehicle or replace the tire or related components. If towing is necessary, the renter is also responsible for all towing expenses.

Vehicle Breakdown

Due to our stringently maintained vehicles, a breakdown is unlikely. However, if a breakdown does occur, immediately call the phone number on your rental contract and we will take care of it. Do not repair our vehicle.

Refuel Charges

Vehicles must be brought back with the same amount of fuel as we initially provided. The fuel level will be printed on your rental contract. Re-fueling charges will apply and fees will vary depending on pump prices.

Luxury Car Rentals of SA accepts no responsibility or liability for errors, omissions, damages, injuries, liabilities, or losses incurred by consumer or affiliate. Vehicle model and color may vary at time of rental.
